Perspective on 2D material polaritons and innovative fabrication techniques

In this Perspective, we present that polariton modes hosted in two-dimensional (2D) materials can be used to increase and control light–matter interactions at the nanoscale. We analyze optical response of most 2D material nanostructures support plasmon, exciton, phonon modes. Polariton characteristic lengths are assess hybrid different monolayers nanoribbons. nanodisk act like a cavity supports localized modes, which excited by nearby placed quantum system ultra-fast ultra-bright operation. The key achieve high quality is reduce losses. Thus, state-of-the-art exfoliation, chemical vapor deposition, transferring techniques introduced fabricate fulfill stringent requirements applications photonics, optoelectronics, technologies.
